My name is David Collenberg.

I am a 44-year-old native Californian, proud father of six, fifth-generation farmer, small business owner, and agriculture advocate.

California is my home. I was born and raised here, and my family has worked this land for generations. Farming is more than a profession to me—it’s a way of life. It has taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, perseverance, and faith.

Throughout my life, I’ve experienced many of the same challenges facing working families across our state. I’ve lived through droughts, rising costs, burdensome regulations, economic uncertainty, and the daily struggle of keeping a family business operating in California. Those experiences shaped my belief that the people who grow our food, run small businesses, raise families, and build our communities deserve a stronger voice.

In 2026, I had the honor of earning more than 578,000 votes as a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of California. That campaign connected me with people from every corner of our state who shared concerns about the future of California and a desire to restore common sense, accountability, and opportunity.

Today, I continue that mission through agricultural advocacy, public outreach, and the Collenbergs’ North State Farm Coalition.

I believe California can once again be a place where families can afford to live, businesses can thrive, agriculture can prosper, and future generations can achieve the American Dream.

The issues that matter most to me are protecting agriculture, defending water rights, promoting responsible forest management, supporting rural communities, strengthening local economies, and ensuring that government serves the people—not the other way around.

My commitment remains the same as it has always been: standing up for California’s farmers, ranchers, workers, small business owners, and families.
